Floral dimensional spotlight card + deco foil metallix gel tutorial.

Today, for Technique Time at Unity, I am showing a way to create a dimensional spotlight card with pearl background accents.

Sentiment:
My peace I give unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
~ John 14:27

Here are helpful tips for creating this.  To begin, trim or die-cut a background layer using color cardstock.  Then, trim two scrap pieces of cardstock in the same color or in white.  Next, stamp the sentiment onto the background panel and also stamp two corner florals on the scrap cardstock pieces.  Then, using a stencil, masking tape and a spatula, apply a thin layer of deco foil metallix gel over the background and around the sentiment.  Next, color in one of the flowers for the spotlight.  Also, color the main corner stamping or leave it plain.  Then, fussy cut the corner floral and also the spotlight piece.  Finally, once dry, assemble the layers, pop up the flowers and the spotlight piece to finish the card.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
