Birthday Card ~ One Layer Frame Scene Tutorial

Today, for Technique Time at Unity, I am showing a way to create a stamped one layer frame scene for a birthday card.  The scene is one layer but I also added stamped sentiment tags.

Sentiment:  Celebrate.  Let the good times begin.

Here are helpful tips for creating this one layer frame scene.  To begin, add distress ink blending onto cardstock.  I used the frame stamp backing as a guide for blending placement within the frame area.  Next, stamp the frame onto the distress ink layer.  Then, dry or heat set everything.  Next, stamp and heat emboss the lanterns and the sentiment over the blended section inside the frame.  Also, stamp and trim small tag accents.  Finally, adhere the frame scene layer to the card base.  Optional, add accent tags and adhesive gems to finish.

I made a quick video tutorial showing the process for this project.
