Friends, Flowers & Giveaway

This card and design incorporates lots of different stamp sets to get the look I wanted.  It was made for a dear friend's birthday celebration.

Front sentiment:  If friends were flowers, I'd pick you.

This is watercolor using my new Derwent Inktense colored pencils.  This is my first try with the pencils and I have to say that these are fabulous to work with.  Adding the water brush transforms the pencil detail into watercolor paint and very vivid too.  I can tell these are going to get a ton of use.

  15. HI Gaylynn. The birthday card with the lady is so pretty with the floral borders. I also like the way she is placed on the Lil' Inkers background with the faux stitched edge. As for the wedding card, you made magic with the stamp, paper and that sweet tag.

  17. Wow, your first card is gorgeous -- beautiful colouring! (If I didn't already have a ton of watercolour pencils, I would definitely want the Inktense ones!) The second card is great, too, love the touches of lace and pearls.
