Make a place beautiful.

This is going to my Mama as a thank you card.
She sewed a quilt for me with tender love and care.
She puts her heart, soul and time into making pretty things for her family.
She really does make a place beautiful.

Thanks in Watercolor

Here are two similar thank you cards switched up a bit.

The first one is a die-cut inlay that is watercolor using the colors of the MCT color inspiration.
These colors together look a little like camouflage, fitting for a masculine themed design.
I think this would be great for thanking our service men and women as well.

The second card used the same stamp and die set, without watercolor or inlay.  Again, another masculine CAS style.
I've had to create a few of these lately for my husband to send out.
We have lots of thanking to do for amazing people in our lives.

Beautiful Heart

I needed to send thanks to someone very special and so this card was born.

Front sentiment:  You have a beautiful heart.

The intent was to keep the colors lime and purple, but I couldn't resist adding more accent colors into this big beautiful heart.  It is watercolor with watercolor pencils.

Friends, Flowers & Giveaway

This card and design incorporates lots of different stamp sets to get the look I wanted.  It was made for a dear friend's birthday celebration.

Front sentiment:  If friends were flowers, I'd pick you.

This is watercolor using my new Derwent Inktense colored pencils.  This is my first try with the pencils and I have to say that these are fabulous to work with.  Adding the water brush transforms the pencil detail into watercolor paint and very vivid too.  I can tell these are going to get a ton of use.
