Butterfly 3-D Sympathy Card & Winner
Here are some of the cards that I unfortunately had to send recently.
For this sympathy card, I chose to watercolor the butterfly and then cut it out. I like the way it looks all by itself.

Front sentiment: With heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
Inside sentiment: Nothing is harder than saying goodbye to someone you love.
The intention was for more purple to show on the butterfly, but the result was that the blue showed up more vividly with these paints. This will be included with the projects for Unity's Friends With Flair.
Tools used include: Unity Stamp Company May hope sustain you, Everything Wonderful and KOTM 11/2013 Strength and Dignity. Also, Ranger ink, watercolor paint, water brushes, Canson watercolor paper, The Paper Mill Store card stock and ribbon.
Have a wonderful day. :)

ReplyDeleteThe butterfly is amazing...gorgeous!! You were correct just to let it shine on the card by itself, anything else would have taken away from its beauty.
