Ma Mama Mom... What? & Giveaway

Here is a funny conversation card for all of the Mom's out there.  I think this is perfect for Mother's Day, Birthday or Valentine's Day.  I chose the colors of lime green, purple and blue with added hearts for the trim.

Front sentiment:  Ma, Mama, Mommy, Mom.  What?  Hi.

Inside sentiment:  I love you.

I used speech bubbles for the words.  Some were typed and printed and the "hi" was stamped.  I hope this brings a chuckle and memories of the toddler stage.  I miss the days when my kids said cute things like this over and over again.

This is included with the Unity {be inspired} sketch challenge15 April May 2014 and FWF.

Tools used include:  Unity Stamp Company Handmade Valentines and Hi with a Heart {bitty itty bitty}.  Also, K & Company paper, Spellbinders & My Creative Time dies and Ranger ink.

Happy Spring!!!

  4. Hi Gaylynn,
I sure do remember those days, but my daughter was not a toddler, she was much older and she that to me all the time mom--mom--mom-- WHAT?....never mind...... Drove me nuts, but I can laugh about it today! I think this makes a terrific Mother's Day card! It's so funny! And you matched the sketch so well! Great job! I would like to be included in your giveaway, thanks :) I found you on Unity's Friends with Flair.
    Peace,

  11. Cute card and great take on the sketch! It reminds me of all those days when my kids were so young and kept calling, "Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?" and when I finally asked in exasperation, "What?" They paused and said, "I love you..." Ah, those were the days... :)

  12. What a completely cute card Gaylynn!! I love the idea that you based this on your kids when they were at such a sweet age. My kids are grown and starting families of their own and I really miss those days of them being little!!

I wanted to thank you (even though I'm a couple of weeks late!) for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments during my Growing In Unity Week. It meant so much to me that you took the time to visit!!

  15. Love the use of the speech bubbles. Very fun, but true card. Anyone with little one have experienced this more times than they care to remember.
