Something you FEEL and DO

LOVE is the theme of this card.

Front Sentiment:  Love is not only something you feel, it is something  you do.
Inside Sentiment:  Love you.

It has a chalkboard look to it.  I embossed the sentiment, then colored with distress markers.  The white picket fence marker made the banners pop, I think.  To soften the look a little more, I added a butterfly and adhesive pearls.

The colors were inspired by the Unity Stamp Company i love you {be inspired} December / January 2014 color challenge. Included with FWF there also.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Company: December 2013 KOTM Happy Love Day, Dutch Mustard Soup and Hello Little One stamps.
Also, K&Company paper, adhesive pearls, ribbon, ink blending tool, embossing powder, heat gun, Ranger archival ink and distress markers in barn door, worn lipstick and picket fence.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Terrific 2014.  Cheers!!!

Advent Calendar Treat Holder Banner

This is an advent calendar, treat banner style, that I just mailed to my daughter. I love how it turned out.  Each pocket contains two small treats for each day until Christmas.

The banner is in two strands because of so many pockets.  Here is a closer look at the panels before I added the ribbon:

I made each panel different, included inspirational verses and lots of holiday stamping.

This was a ton of work and time consuming but so worth it.  I sent her some hook nails to hang this high.  Let's hope her kitty doesn't destroy this, lol.

I am including this banner with the Unity FWF projects this week.

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Company stamps from Tags, Glorious Tags and Advent.
My Creative Time 3 x 3 Fancy Envelope Die, Jaded Blossom number candies.

Thank you for visiting. Your comments make my day. :)

Snowman Tag in Ombre

Here is a little snowman tag all dressed up for gift giving.  This one includes a Happy Holidays sentiment.  The featured snowman sitting in snow is embellished with glitter and the sky background is watercolored in ombre style.  The colors are turquoise, red, white and silver.

It has much more SPARKLE in person.  The snow is glittery too.  I made the background in ombre with distress markers and a water brush.

This is included with Miss Katie's My Creative Time Winter Tag Challenge.  This project is filled with lots of the fabulous MCT stamps and dies.

Tools used include:
From My Creative Time, It's a Magical Season, Stitched Round Tab Tag Dies, Postcard Add-Ons.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Snowman Christmas Favor Wraps

These are a set of decorative wraps to fit a pack of candy Tic Tacs.  Snowman's belly is the window showing the candy inside.

I used an assortment of stamps to create this.  There are Let It Snow and Season's Greetings sentiments on the back.  Double sided tape is on the inside flap to hold the candy in place.  It's made to be used with the wrapper kept in place.  Adults and kids love these.  They make great stocking stuffers and gift favors.

Tools used include:  Joy's Life Christmas Puns, My Creative Time It's A Magical Season and Jaded Blossom Winter Candies.

Have a great day!
