Have A Beer

We are celebrating so many milestones this year.  One of them is my son's 21st birthday.  I just cannot believe how quickly time goes by.  Needless to say, he will be having a beer(s) to celebrate.  Once I saw this Unity stamp, I knew it had to be in my hands for his card this year.  It will be included with the Friends With Flair projects there today.

Front sentiment:  Keep Calm And Have A Beer.
Inside sentiment:  Happy Birthday

This one was fun to do.  I tried to make a counter top design.  The coordinating sentiment fits perfectly on the tag.  Distress markers were used to fill in the mug and paint pen dabs made the foam. I think this makes a fun masculine design.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Co. Keep Calm, Have A Beer and {...party all day}.
Also:  Tim Holtz tag, paint pen, Ranger coffee archival ink.

I enjoy your kind comments and they make my day. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Extra Extra

This is a gift wrapped newspaper for our newborn nephew.  The idea was to send a newspaper from the town you live in that was published on the baby's date of birth.  Isn't that a cool idea.  Better yet, the nursery has a Newsies paperboy theme.  I felt the need to decorate the paper before putting it in the mail. I wrote a little message on the back of the ticket journal tag.  The colors are mint green, gold and brown.  This is included in the Unity Stamp Company's Friends With Flair projects.

Tools used include: Unity Stamp Co. Kit Of The Month Everyday Fairytale scroll stamp.  Ranger coffee archival ink, K&Company paper, Martha Stewart Crafts ribbon, Jaded Blossom candies and charm dies, punch, Tim Holtz ticket and cording.

Thank you for visiting. Please share your kind comments. I hope you will follow my crafty blog while you are here.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Amazing Friends

This is a card that speaks volumes.  I adore these sentiments together. The Unity Stamp Co. June/July 2013 Sketch Challenge is the perfect backdrop for this friendship theme.  This is also in their Friday Friends With Flair projects.

Front Sentiment: Thank goodness for amazing friends like you.

Inside Sentiment: A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same. ~ Elbert Hubbard

Isn't this so true?  I paired the sentiments from two different sets.  The doily, trim and bow are a golden honey color.  Navy blue damask and grey are the accent colors here.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Company: Blossom Stackers & Ornate Artisan Stackers and Everything Wonderful.

Happy 4th of July!  Have a safe and wonderful weekend.

Classy & Fabulous

Here is a card with a little sass and class.  This is going to be for my daughter's birthday, so I made it a more grown up style this year.  It was inspired by Miss Emma's Bling challenge at My Creative Time.  I have paired the perfect stamps with glitter, gems and heat embossing.

Sentiment:  A lady should be two things: Classy & Fabulous

I think this yellow, black and turquoise color combination with the soft butter tulle works so well together.  The gems were added for a trendy look.  The tag is glittered and the girl is heat embossed.  The inside includes a birthday greeting.

Tools used include:
From My Creative Time:  Keepin' It Classy, Classy & Fabulous and It's All About You stamp sets.

Thank you for visiting. I welcome your kind comments. Have a wonderful day.
